Bentley Legacy was established in 2013 to actively manage the Bentley family’s diverse portfolio of investments. Focused primarily on the hospitality industry, Bentley Legacy encompasses an array of hotels, restaurants, and operating businesses. True to our core values of vision, quality, and ethics, we continue to expand our investments into companies that align with these principles.


The Bentley family’s roots in hospitality run deep. It began with L.V. Bentley, a graduate of Cornell University’s renowned hotel and restaurant management program. L.V. went on to own and manage two distinguished hotels in Carlisle, Pennsylvania: The Molly Pitcher Hotel and The James Wilson Hotel. His younger brother, Frank Bentley, later joined him in the business, cementing the family’s legacy in the industry.

Les V. Bentley II, the eldest son of Frank, carried forward this tradition. After a successful career with Marriott Hotels and Wyndham Hotels, Les founded Aimbridge Hospitality, one of the largest hospitality management companies in the world. Today, that legacy is carried on by his four accomplished daughters, who have brought their diverse expertise and leadership together at Bentley Legacy, continuing the family’s tradition of excellence in hospitality.
