Les Bentley founded Bentley Legacy in 2013, building on a remarkable career in the hospitality industry. Under his visionary leadership, the company has expanded its portfolio to encompass a wide range of commercial real estate assets while cementing its reputation as a leader in hospitality investments. Les is also a founding partner at Pendant Capital, a fund dedicated to sourcing and managing hospitality-focused investments.
A true stalwart of the hospitality industry, Les began his career at Marriott before advancing to executive roles at Wyndham International and co-founding Aimbridge Hospitality. As CEO of Bentley Legacy, he continues to shape the company’s success and influence within the industry.
Les co-founded Aimbridge Hospitality with just eight hotels under the company’s management. During his tenure, the company experienced exponential growth, becoming the world’s largest third-party management company.
Prior to Aimbridge, Les served as President of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s transition from a private to a public entity. He oversaw the brand and operations of all Wyndham divisions, which encompassed more than 200 properties, 45,000 rooms, and over 25,000 employees.
Les earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Penn State University. He has also served on the Hilton Owners Council, contributing his expertise to shape the future of the industry.
