Mike is a Michigan native whose values are deeply rooted in hard work, dedication, and family. He is supported by his wife, Brie, and inspired daily by their four incredible daughters.
With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mike began his career as a banquet server while earning his BA in Corporate Communication and Public Relations, with a minor in Sociology, from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Since then, he has held leadership positions across several leading full-service hotel brands, including Wyndham, Marriott, and Hilton.
During his long tenure with Aimbridge Hospitality, Mike served as General Manager at multiple properties and later as a Regional Director of Operations. In these roles, he was responsible for optimizing hotel performance, enhancing guest satisfaction, and cultivating high-performing teams. His leadership style emphasizes mentorship and the development of future hospitality leaders. He was also honored to serve on the Aimbridge General Manager Advisory Council, where he contributed to strategic initiatives and helped shape leadership development efforts across the organization.
